Through the Backpack Buddies program, bags of easy-to-prepare foods are packed and delivered by

First Baptist Church Bay Saint Louis to local schools. School staff discretely distributes the bags to

children on Fridays before school breaks.

Currently in the 2021-2022 school year, the program is serving 75 students in three local schools. Our

goal is to serve all six elementary schools in Hancock County.
